The Bear Growl Gravel Grinder is a fundraiser for Mountain Circle Family Services Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit foster care and adoption agency. We are excited to announce our third annual gravel grinder ride this fall in beautiful Indian Valley
Ride Day: September 12, 2020
The Bear Growl Gravel Grinder is unique gravel and paved ride coming to Indian Valley fall 2020. This ride features 101, 54, 47, and 33-mile paved options as well as 97, 54, and 38-mile gravel options. The goal of this ride is to bring an exciting and challenging bike ride to beautiful Indian Valley that has options for riders of all ages and abilities.
Highlighting this ride is a grueling 97-mile gravel loop that will take riders on an unforgettable journey of Indian Valley. Riders can expect spectacular vistas from high peaks, 9,100′ of elevation gain, and a 60/40 gravel to pavement ratio. Two shorter gravel loops are available as well.
Additionally, the Bear Growl Gravel Grinder offers a 101 mile pavement ride with 6,000′ of elevation gain, a 54 mile ride with 3500′ of climb and relatively flat 47 and 33 mile pavement rides.
The ride begins and ends at the campground in Taylorsville, CA at 7:00 a.m on Saturday, September 12, 2020, and will feature a complimentary catered lunch, beer from a variety of breweries, and a Tri-Tip barbecue after the race (dinner tickets for sale in registration).
